This is the most popular time of year to think about changing career. The beginning of the new year makes us stop and take a lot at what we've achieved and where we're going.

If you are dissatisfied with your career, what can you do to change it? Change isn't always easy if you've accumulated responsibilities, such as a mortgage and a family.

You need to start by evaluating your present situation - what do you like and dislike about it? Are there any small changes you could make as a first step towards a new career? Could you, for example get some additional training in your present job?
